Private violin lessons at Destined for the Stars are given by a highly educated and professional staff. Our instructors have the finest training and temperament, ensuring a rich and rewarding experience for students of all ages. 

Violin lessons present the facets of playing in a step by step approach appropriate to each age group and skill level; lessons incorporate proper finger and bow technique, note reading, music theory and rhythm while introducing standard violin repertoire. The thoughtfully laid out lessons provide clear concepts along with precise exercises to master each skill ensuring students build upon their successes each week. 

Students from 5 years old through adult, beginner to advanced, our violin lessons offer a high quality and thorough education that helps students excel.

Learn the fundamentals of violin/viola playing in a fun, low-pressure environment! Individual attention will be given to each participant, as well as the opportunity to learn with other students. Clear goals and assignments will be provided.  G Group classes are perfect for those that thrive learning in a community environment and for students who participate in school orchestras, but would like more individual, expert help, in a fun and engaging setting. Strumming, fingerstyle, and face-melting guitar solos make learning guitar challenging, but fun and very rewarding. We offer guitar lessons in either classical acoustic, modern acoustic and electric guitar. Our guitar instructors offer a diverse understanding of technique, musical expression, range of dynamics and interpretation

Our online group guitar lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate guitarists who are looking to improve their skills in a group format. Learning how to play the guitar or enhance your game is undoubtedly more enjoyable if you can share your love for the instrument with like-minded guitar enthusiasts.

Provided weekly on a set day and time, our online group guitar lessons will surely delight those who wish to benefit from an exceptional guitar instruction provided by excellent teachers who specialise in teaching adults.

Our group guitar courses typically do not count more than five participants as we wish our education to be highly beneficial for each.

Under the guidance of highly experienced guitar instructors, you will study various aspects of guitar playing that include discovering the nature of the instrument, improving both your technical and musical skills as well as learning how to play in a group format.

Inspire your child and keep them interested in music with our imaginative piano classes for children! Our Piano Lessons for Kids are specially designed for the needs of young students ages 4-7 by incorporating music and movement in a relaxed atmosphere. 

We offers a personalized learning experience. Each lesson is adapted to the students’ needs. Our piano lessons focus on classical, jazz, popular, or traditional piano pieces or any combination of music styles you like.

This class is a weekly group piano lesson for your child.  Students will be placed in groups of 5-6 based on age and previously completed levels in various piano method books.  Students will learn the basic skills necessary to play the piano in a warm and supportive environment.  Students will be presented with new material by lecture and demonstration, then have the opportunity to ask questions and play out loud for feedback.  We will focus on proper technique and music reading while having fun making music together!    Students should expect to spend 15-20 minutes playing the piano each day (outside of the lesson time).

Lessons will be learner directed depending on the needs of each individual in the group.  Topics covered will include:
Posture and hand position, note reading in treble and bass clef staff, different hand positions, note values, dynamics, slurs, staccato, time signatures, and expression markings.

The summer group class is for students who enjoy working in group. Instructors provide guidance where needed, but students can direct the class where they need it.
